If there was any doubt that Dodge stood for performance, 2017 is the year that our preferred automaker has opted to show them. They started by unveiling the mainstream’s most powerful performance SUV in the Durango SRT, and now they’re preparing us for the launch of the 2018 Demon SRT at the New York Auto Show.
Although little about the Demon SRT is known aside from the fact it’s a variant of the Challenger and that it’s ostensibly more powerful than the Hellcats, the Auburn Hills automaker has been showcasing its unique components through a video series. This week marks the eighth video to be released, this time focusing on the strengthened parts that help manage the Demon’s gratuitous torque. The Hellcats have 650 lb-ft—does this mean the Demon will have more?
