The Ram 1500 is engineered as a work truck, but you can also bring it on an adventure. It is made of high-strength steel with the frame being 98% steel to offer the stiffness and the durability needed to drive off-road and carry heavy loads. The strong steel frame allows the truck to tow up to 12,750 pounds and up to 2,300 pounds in its bed and cabin.
Besides the high-strength frame and the list of powerful engines, Ram offers several tech features to make the truck more capable. It comes with Trailer 360-degree Surround View Camera and a Trailer Hitch Light that gives the driver more awareness and visibility when towing on or off the road.
The Surround View Camera couples with the Trailer-Tow Power-Fold Mirrors for a bird’s eye view of the surroundings. The Trailer Reverse Steering Control further makes it easier for the truck to handle when towing.
